About MARS CDC
Founded in partnership with MARS Contractors, MARS CDC conveys extensive knowledge of real estate acquisition, construction, and marketing which we utilize to successfully develop and redevelop the commercial and residential communities of South Florida and South Jersey communities.
We also bring extensive insight as community leaders, public relations and social services’ trainers, by implementing programs and services fashioned to the rebuilding of the lives of residents and businesses.

What is a CDC?
Community Development Corporations (CDCs) are non-profit community-based organizations that anchor capital locally through the development of both residential and commercial property. First Formed in the 1960’s, CDCs have expanded rapidly in both size and number. An industry survey published in 1999 found that 3,600 CDCs promote community economic stability by developing over 37,500 units of affordable housing and 12 million square feet of commercial and industrial space each year. CDCs often focus on serving lower-income residents or struggling neighborhoods. They are also involved in a variety of activities including economic development, education, and real estate development.
